El uso de las energías renovables está cada vez más en auge como una solución a la crisis energética y ambiental del planeta, sin embargo, no todas las instituciones educativas tienen conocimiento sobre ellas. Con tal fin, esta experiencia se llevó a cabo para conocer, promulgar, aplicar e interrelacionar las energías renovables como fuentes de energía limpia e inagotables en 96 estudiantes de último grado de educación secundaria de tres instituciones públicas ubicadas en la ciudad de Neiva - Huila. El objetivo era crear experiencias auténticas con las energías renovables haciendo que los alumnos resolvieran retos del mundo real en sus comunidades como parte de procesos de enseñanza y aprendizaje basados en el aprendizaje basado en problemas que contribuyen activamente al medio ambiente. Para resolver los problemas identificados en la investigación, se adoptó un enfoque cuantitativo, lo que supuso el uso de encuestas de evaluación de conocimientos antes y después de la prueba y de ayudas a la instrucción. Las conclusiones demuestran cómo el PBL afecta a la agencia de los estudiantes como aprendices al permitirles ver los problemas y aportar soluciones en el mundo real.
The use of renewable energies is increasingly on the rise as a solution to the planet's energy and environmental crisis, however, not all educational institutions have knowledge about them.To this end, this experience was carried out to know, enact, apply apply and interrelate renewable energies as sources of clean and endless energy in 96 high school students of three public institutions in the city of Neiva -Huila.The goal was to build authentic experiences with renewable energies by having students solve real-world challenges in their communities as part of problem-based learning-based teaching and learning processes that actively contribute to the environment. In order to solve the issues identified in the research, a quantitative approach was taken, and this involved the use of both pre-and post-test knowledge evaluation surveys and instructional aids. The findings demonstrate how PBL affects students' agency as learners by allowing them to see problems and provide solutions in the real world.
