Este trabajo tiene por objetivo analizar la envergadura de la noción de humanización en la esfera del Derecho internacional de los derechos humanos a través de la jurisprudencia evolutiva de la Corte Interamericana de Derechos Humanos (Corte IDH), y muy especialmente, enfocado en la contribución a esta evolución pretoriana que realizó el ex Juez de la Corte IDH Antônio Augusto Cançado Trindade, quien lamentablemente falleció el año 2022. Con este trabajo entendemos realizarle un sentido homenaje. Existe una enorme cantidad de juristas y académicos, no sólo en América Latina sino a lo largo de todo el mundo, que son tributarios de su rico pensamiento doctrinal. Otros han gozado con la lectura de sus reflexiones y disquisiciones teóricas, incluso cuando han discrepado de ellas. El juez Cançado Trindade será recordado por muchos años, manteniéndose en los espíritus y las mentes de muchos, precisamente a través del análisis y examen de sus abundantes enseñanzas.
This text aims to analyze the depth of the humanization of the intranational human rights law trough the evolutive case of the InterAmerican Court of Human Rights, specially, focused on the contribution made by the former judge of this tribunal, Antônio Augusto Cançado Trindade, who passed away in 2022. With this paper we pretend to pay a heartfelt tribute. There is a considerable amount of lawyers and academics, not only in Latin America but around the world, who enrich themselves with his substantial doctrinal thought. Others have been enjoying the reading of his reflections and theorizations, even when disagreeing with them. The judge Cançado Trindade will be remembered for many years, remaining in the spirts and minds of many people, precisely trough the analysis and review of his abundant teachings.
