El presente comentario procura enfatizar la relación entre la violencia contra las mujeres y la discriminación basada en el género, así como la falta de debida diligencia de las autoridades para investigar, sancionar, reparar esos delitos y prevenir su repetición. Por otro lado, la situación de mi país muestra que el avance del marco jurídico e institucional, viene siendo mayor que los cambios generados en los valores socioculturales de género en las familias argentinas.
This commentary seeks to emphasize the relationship between violence against women and gender–based discrimination, as well as the lack of due diligence by the authorities to investigate, punish, repair these crimes and prevent their repetition. On the other hand, the situation in my country shows that progress in the legal and institutional framework, it has been greater than the changes generated in the sociocultural values of gender in Argentine families.
