El propósito del presente artículo es explorar algunas proposiciones genera-les a nivel metodológico presentes en el pensamiento de Hannah Arendt. Al respecto, se recurrirá al análisis de diversos textos de su autoría, así como también parte de su correspondencia privada e intervenciones públicas. Por último, se citarán expertos en la obra de la autora y se comentará de qué manera sus propuestas se alinean, en mayor o menor grado, con lo sosteni-do por ella. Algunos de los temas que pretendemos abarcar con el presente trabajo serán la objetividad vs. la expresión de valores e impresiones sobre lo que se enjuicia, y la díada sujeto-estructura, entendida en tanto alterna-tiva de expresión de una opinión original o de otra que se enmarca en una tradición comunitaria o en condicionantes estructurales de la persona que están allende su poder modificar.
This article aims to explore some general methodological conceptions pre-sent in Hannah Arendt’s thinking. For that matter, several of her texts, as well as fragments of her personal correspondence and assorted public in-terventions, will be analyzed. Lastly, experts on her work will be also quo-ted, commenting in which way their inputs align or not, and if so in which manner, with her own viewpoints. Some of the topics to be covered will be objectivity vs. the expression of personal values and impressions on what is judged, as well as the opposition between individual and the structure. The latter is understood as an alternative to express an original opinion or another one strictly belonging to a communal tradition or, finally, structural banisters of the person that the latter cannot modify.
