O avanço das tecnologias digitais abrange vários contextos sociais, inclusive o organizacional. Nesse sentido, os fluxos de trabalho sofreram e ainda sofrem mudanças, como ocorre nos setores de arquivo. E isso exige que os arquivistas e sua equipe possuam literacia digital para desempenhar as atividades na atualidade, não só em termos de adquiri-la, mas também de desenvolvê-la de modo contínuo. Sendo assim, esta pesquisa tem como objetivo geral discutir a importância da literacia digital para as práticas arquivísticas. E para seu alcance é preciso: abordar a literacia, a literacia digital, o setor de arquivos e seu objeto de estudo na atualidade – a informação arquivística, refletindo sobre os impactos da literacia digital no campo das práticas arquivísticas. Com a finalidade de atingir os objetivos, realizou-se uma pesquisa descritivo-exploratória, pois ela permite analisar os fenômenos e conhecer mais o tema a partir de diversas perspectivas. A pesquisa seguiu uma abordagem qualitativa que diz respeito à análise subjetiva do objeto de estudo, sendo realizada uma pesquisa bibliográfica para se aprofundar no tema e teorizar o trabalho. Desse modo, busca-se contribuir, significativamente, para: 1) a literatura arquivística, considerando a escassez de estudos voltados à literacia digital nos arquivos; 2) a equipe técnica/intelectual dos arquivos, ao trazer esse olhar acerca da importância e necessidade de criar políticas e implementá-las com o intuito promover a literacia digital nesses setores.
The advance of digital technologies covers several social contexts, including the organizational one. In this sense, the workflows went and still go through changes, as in the sectors of files. And that requires from archivists and their staff the development of digital literacy to carry out their activities nowadays. Therefore, this research has the general objective of discussing theimportance of digital literacy for archival practices. To do so, theoretically, we approach literacy, digital literacy, the archive sector and archival information, reflecting on the impacts of digital literacy in the field of archival practices. Methodologically, a descriptive and exploratory research was carried out, as it makes possible to analyze the phenomena and know more about the theme from different perspectives. This research followed a qualitative approach with regard to the subjective analysis of the object of study, with bibliographical research being carried out to deepen the theme and theorize the work. In this way, it aimed to contribute significantly to: 1) the archival literature, considering the scarcity of studies that focus on digital literacy in archives; 2) the technical/intellectual team of the archives, by bringing the perspective of the importance and need to create policies and implement them with the aim of promoting digital literacy in these sectors.
