Purpose: The objective of this study was to identify the profile of academic research on blended learning in the world and propose a research agenda for the topic.
Theoretical framework: Local governance is important to advancing the SDGs, but how realistic it is that public and private actors at local levels of governance will take on the challenge of spurring local action to achieve the SDGs rather than relying on international organizations and national governances. Reddy, P. S. (2016).
Design/Methodology/Approach: The research investigate the impact of local government on sustainable development in Egypt as a case study using an econometric model of annual time series from 2000 to 2020 for several variables that reflect sustainable development as independent variables and using the volume of spending on local governance as a dependent variable, using ARDL model. The role that local action plays in achieving the goals of sustainable development, by moving from the Millennium Development Goals to the Sustainable Development Goals, the importance of local responses to the global problems and challenges targeted by sustainable Findings: The study recommended setting a general framework for local governance that defines a clear role for local units in achieving sustainable local development, and developing methods for selecting local leaders, provided that they have experience and academic qualifications, and work to establish information centers in local councils, and the need. Strategic planning, implementation and follow-up to achieve sustainable local development.
Research, Practical & Social implications: The findings of this study development and discussing the motivations of local governance to contribute to the changes that achieve inclusive prosperity, identifying the main barriers to local governances, and how to expand Scope and improve conditions for local people and organizations.
Originality/Value: A significant contribution to the body of knowledg is achieved through testing the effects of local Governance in achieving sustainable development in economic and political transformations era.
