The author analyses the constituent debate on work as a form of 'effective participation' of workers in the political, economic and social organtzation of the country (Art. 3 Const.). In the light of this reconstruction, the author aims to highlight how the failure to implement art. 46 of the Constitution has changed the meaning of work as a form of economic and democratic participation. Finally, it is highlighted, on the one hand, how the collaboration of workers in the management of the company has acquited a renewed centrality in the current organization of production, marked by digital innovation, and, on the other, how a legislative intervention on the subject can no longer be postponed.
L'autore analizza il dibattito costituente sul lavoro come forma di «effettiva par-tecipazione» dei lavoratori al organizzazione politica, economica e sociale del Paese (art. 3 Cost). Alla luce di tale ficostruzione autore intende sottolineare come la mancata attuazione dell'art. 46 Cost, abbia mutato Il senso del lavoro quale forma di partecipazione eco-comica e democratica. Infine nell'articolo si evidenza, da un lato, come la collaborazione dei lavoratori alla gestione dell'impresa abbia acquisito una rinnovata centralità nell'attuale of-ganizzazione della produzione, improntata all innovazione digitale, e, d'altro, come non sia più rinviabile un intervento legislativo in materia.
