Websites and Digital Libraries can be not only means of consultation and visualisation of digital content, but also tools to create connections with the territory and from which to create other projects and experiences. The Digital Library of the library of Charles Albert of the Castle of Racconigi was a part of the project “The recovery of the Library of Charles Albert, a meeting place between the public and private life of the sovereign” realised by the Association Le Terre dei Savoia, in collaboration with the Castle of Racconigi and financed by the Compagnia di San Paolo Foundation. The heart of the Digital Library are the reading paths conceived as a journey that leads not only to the discovery of what Charles Albert liked to read, but also to the discovery of connections between books, territories, and the Savoy family.
