Un viajero tiene derecho a una reducción del precio de su viaje combinado cuando la falta de conformidad de los servicios de viaje incluidos en el mismo se debe a las restricciones impuestas en el lugar de destino de dicho viajero para contener la propagación de una enfermedad infecciosa, y tales restricciones también se han impuesto en el lugar de residencia de este y en otros países debido a la propagación mundial de esta enfermedad. Para ser adecuada, esta reducción del precio debe determinarse teniendo en cuenta los servicios incluidos en el viaje combinado en cuestión y debe corresponder al valor de los servicios cuya falta de conformidad se ha observado.
A traveller is entitled to a reduction in the price of his or her package holiday where a lack of conformity of the travel services included in this is due to restrictions that have been imposed at the travel destination to fight the spread of an infectious disease, and such restrictions have also been imposed in the traveller’s place of residence and in other countries due to the worldwide spread of that disease. In order for that price reduction to be appropriate, it must be assessed in the light of the services included in the package concerned and must correspond to the value of the services for which a lack of conformity has been found.
