Análisis crítico de la Ley de Iniciativa Popular 19/2022, mostrando su génesis y los movimientos en que se inspira: esta ley pretende el reconocimiento de personalidad jurídica a la laguna del Mar Menor y su cuenca, con fines de protección medioambiental. El trabajo incide en la posible inconstitucionalidad de esta Ley y sus causas y las tensiones existentes entre la misma Ley, la Constitución y otras normas de igual o superior rango, sin olvidar sus imprecisiones.
Critical analysis of the Popular Initiative Law 19/2022, showing its genesis and the movements that inspired it: this law aims to recognise the legal personality of the Mar Menor lagoon and its basin, for the purpose of environmental protection. The work focuses on the possible unconstitutionality of this Law and its causes and the tensions existing between the Law itself, the Constitution and other regulations of equal or higher rank, without forgetting its vagueness.
