  En un contexto de reformas constitucionales en Chile, y una puesta en agenda aún incierta en Perú, se reafirma que el principio de neutralidad ante la diversidad religiosa tiene una conexión necesaria con la igualdad y no discriminación. Por ello, atendiendo a la evolución social en relación con las cifras de creencia e increencia en ambos países, corresponde reflexionar acerca de la consagración expresa del modelo del Estado laico para fortalecer la obligación estatal de dar un trato igual a los titulares del derecho a la libertad religiosa.

  In the context of constitutional reform procedures in Chile, and the Peruvian reform uncertain agenda, the principle of neutrality must be reaffirmed taking into account the religious diversity and it is necessarily connected to equality and non discrimination claims. So that, according to the social evolution revealed in statistics about believers and unbelieving persons in both countries, it is the opportunity to think about the secular state model in the constitutional text for strengthening the public duty of equal treatment to all religious rights holders.
