La información y documentación sobre medio ambiente y espacios naturales protegidos son la materia prima que gestionan las Bibliotecas Verdes de la Red de Centros de Documentación e Información Ambiental (RECIDA). Esta materia es compleja y está conformada por muchos aspectos, lo que dificulta la tarea profesional de los gestores de información. RECIDA es la red que aglutina a las Bibliotecas Verdes Ambientales del Estado español, que preservan y conservan la información ambiental del país, la difunden a distintos segmentos de población: usuarios de perfil técnico para que sea útil en su trabajo, pero también a todo tipo de ciudadanía, para la cual se realizan acciones y actividades para sensibilizar y formar en el cuidado de nuestro entorno y por tanto de nuestra salud y bienestar.
Information and documentation on the environment and protected natural areas are the raw material managed by the Green Libraries of the Network of Environmental Documentation and Information Centers (RECIDA). This subject is complex and is made up of many aspects, which makes the professional task of information managers difficult. RECIDA is the network that brings together the Environmental Green Libraries of the Spanish State, which preserve and conserve the country's environmental information, disseminating it to different segments of the population: users with a technical profile so that it is useful in their work, but also to all kinds of citizenship, for which actions and activities are carried out to raise awareness and train in the care of our environment and therefore of our health and well-being.
