El artículo indaga en la realidad de la sociedad española a la luz de tres importantes conceptos: la pobreza, la exclusión social y la de- sigualdad. Estos indicadores muestran cómo las capas más humildes han agravado aún más su situación de vulnerabilidad a conse- cuencia de las crisis encadenadas desde 2008. No se trata, sin embargo, de un factor coyuntural, sino de una falla estructural, como argumenta el autor, que concluye proponiendo cambios de calado en el modelo para cambiar la suerte de los más vulnerables
The article explores the reality of Spanish society in the light of three important concepts: poverty, social exclusion and inequality. These indicators show how the situation of the poorest sectors of society has become even more vulnerable as a result of the crises since 2008. This is not, however, a cyclical factor, but a structural flaw, as the author argues, and he concludes by proposing far-reaching changes in the model to change the fate of the most vulnerable.
