La perception de la transition architecturale chez l’enfant avec autisme

    This work is an innovative contribution to understanding the behaviors of children with autism in their educational institution. The characterization of the sensitive experience of these institutions’ users will be carried out using an on-board biophysiological sensor to measure the emotional states of the subjects, combined with the results of their behavioral model called the sensory profile. This work aims to open a reflection on the characteristics of architectural devices, especially spatial transition. Our goal is to be able to propose corrections, improvements or spatial and architectural recommendations to designers.

    Ce travail concourt de façon novatrice à la compréhension des comportements des enfants avec autisme dans leurs espaces d’éducation spécialisée. La caractérisation du vécu sensible de ces usagers de l’espace se fera à travers le recours à un capteur biophysiologique embarqué mesurant les états émotionnels des sujets, combiné aux résultats de leur modèle comportemental appelé le profil sensoriel. Il instaure une réflexion sur les caractéristiques des dispositifs architecturaux, spécialement les dispositifs de transition spatiale, dans le but de pouvoir proposer des corrections, des améliorations ou des recommandations spatiales.
