El Sistema Nacional de Salud sustenta su trabajo de gestión de la información científico-técnica en el Sistema Nacional de Información en Ciencias de la Salud (SNICS). El hecho de trabajar como sistema conduce a tener una organización y control de la labor investigativa, en función de no duplicar esfuerzos y compartir el trabajo entre cada uno de sus investigadores. El objetivo de este trabajo es describir el Portal de Investigaciones, que responda a los principales problemas y resultados de investigación en el contexto del SNICS; ya que no hay ninguna herramienta que posibilite el control de importantes variables como los investigadores, las líneas de investigación, los proyectos en los que se está trabajando, las investigaciones concluidas y el banco de problemas de cada una de las instituciones que pertenecen a este sistema. Este sitio se está trabajando de manera cooperada con la participación en la recogida y descripción de los datos de las instituciones de subordinación nacional que tengan investigadores y proyectos de investigación y los centros provinciales de información en Ciencias Médicas. Diseñado en Drupal, con cuatro repositorios soportados en el sistema de almacenamiento CWIS, ha pretendido ser el punto de enlace, control y organización de las investigaciones en la gestión de la información científico-técnica en salud. El portal está diseñado para la organización y control de las investigaciones del SNICS y constituye una fuente de información de obligatoria consulta durante el proceso de investigación.
The National Health System bases its scientific-technical information management work on the National Health Sciences Information System (SNICS, as per its initials in spanish). The fact of working as a system leads to have an organization and control of the research work, in order not to duplicate efforts and to share the work among each of its researchers. The objective of this paper is to describe the Research Portal and to have it respond to the main problems and research results in the context of SNICS as there is no tool that makes it possible to control important variables such as researchers, lines of research, projects being worked on, completed research and the problem bank of each of the institutions belonging to this system. This site is being operated in a cooperative manner in the data collection and description with the participation of the institutions of national subordination that have researchers and research projects and the provincial centers of information in Medical Sciences. Designed in Drupal, with four repositories supported in the CWIS storage system, it has intended to be the point of liaison, control and organization of research in the management of scientific-technical information in health. The portal is designed for the organization and control of SNICS research and constitutes a source of information that must be consulted during the research process.
