El presente trabajo es una propuesta de lectura de una ciudad por piezas. Se plantea un recorrido por la forma urbana de Madrid en el que confluyen consideraciones históricas, morfotipológicas, funcionales y socioeconómicas. Se abordan: la caracterización de la periferia de bloque abierto (del polígono al nuevo ensanche), los riesgos del polígono, y la estigmación de la forma urbana en la periferia.
The present work is a proposal to read a city by pieces. A journey through the urban form of Madrid is proposed in which historical, morphotypological, functional and socioeconomic considerations converge. The following are addressed: the characterization of the open block periphery (from the polygon to the new expansion), the risks of the polygon, and the stigmatization of the urban from in the periphery.
