    El presente artículo científico analiza de forma sistemática el Artículo 2 del Reglamento General de Protección de Datos (RGPD), a través de la evaluación de su alcance y justificación, génesis y evolución legislativa en el panorama internacional, el contexto regional y su desarrollo nacional, relación con el ámbito de aplicación del Derecho de la Unión, interacción con otros derechos fundamentales y su desarrollo como derecho a la libre circulación de datos personales.

    This scientific article systematically analyses Article 2 of the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) by assessing its scope and justification, its genesis and legislative evolution on the international scene, the regional context and its national development, its relationship with the scope of application of EU law, its interaction with other fundamental rights and its development as a right to the free movement of personal data.
