El objetivo del presente trabajo es relatar nuestra experiencia y quedar plasmadas todas las actuaciones que realizamos y retos a los que nos enfrentamos para el rescate de los fondos documentales de la villa de Don Álvaro - que tantos años habían permanecidos olvidados en un almacén- su limpieza y la realización de una primera clasificación.
A lo largo del trabajo se recogen los pasos dados para conseguir nuestro propósito : la creación de un Archivo Histórico donde poder conservar, custodiar y difundir el patrimonio histórico documental y así mantener viva la memoria colectiva y la identidad local.
The objective of this research is to describe our experience and write down all the efforts we have made and challenges we have face in order to recover the documentary resources from the village of Don Álvaro -which have been hidden in a warehouse- and the following clean up and first classification.
Through this research, it has been collected every step we made to achieve our goal: to build a Historic Archive where the documental historic heritage can be preserved, guarded and spread, and, thanks to that, to keep alive the collective memory and the local identity.
