El siguiente artículo analiza el texto de Spivak ¿Puede hablar el subalterno?, haciendo especial hincapié en el tema de la representación de la mujer. Este trabajo, en una primera etapa, conecta con el texto de Spivak y el silencio subalterno: busca demostrar que en ese discurso de la autora existe la imposibilidad de representación de una mujer subalterna para, en un segundo momento, comparar el texto con el caso del silenciamiento e intento de representación y protección de la mujer mapuche-williche en el parlamento de Koz-Koz en 1907. La intención del trabajo es observar la subalternidad de la mujer dentro de un espacio no influido por lo europeo, el mapuche-williche. Esto no quiere decir que se busquen universalidades dentro de lo propuesto por Spivak; más bien, se pretende ampliar el análisis de la subalternidad de la mujer, o lo femenino, en sociedades evidentemente patriarcales.
The following article aims at analysing Spivak’s text: Can the Subaltern Speak?, emphasizing on the representation of the woman. As a first step, after taking into account both Spitak’s text and the silent subaltern, we will demonstrate that according to the author it is actually impossible to portrait a representation of a subaltern woman. In a second part, we will compare this text with the silencing case and the attempt of the representation and the protection of the Mapuche-Williche woman at the Koz-Koz Parliament. The objective of this essay is to observe the subalternity of the woman in a restricted area non-influenced by Europe: the Mapuche-Williche area. This does not mean that we are looking for universalities inside Spivak’s publication but that we mean to extend the analysis of the woman’s subaltern, as well as feminism in patriarchal societies.
