El capítulo hace un repaso por los esfuerzos que se han hecho desde el continente y analiza aquellos factores ligados a la economía mundial que más han afectado al continente. La Covid-19 ha puesto de manifiesto las desigualdades existentes dentro de los países y a nivel global, dejando ver las fracturas de un régimen de cooperación y derechos humanos.
Africa has not been among the most affected continentes by the pandemic in human lives, but it has been at the social, economic and political levels. The chapter gives an overview of the efforts undertaken from the continent. It also analyses the factors linked to the global economy that have most affected the continent. The Covid-19 has manifested the existing inequalities inside the countries but also at the global level, showing the weaknesses of the cooperation and human rights regime.
