Ante la riqueza e importancia de los fondos que albergan los Archivos Portuarios, los Responsables de estas áreas de las distintas Autoridades Portuarias están llevando a cabo una serie de actividades con la intención de crear un Sistema de Archivos de Puertos del Estado y Autoridades Portuarias a fin de conseguir una buena organización y gestión documental que redunde en la salvaguarda del patrimonio documental portuario y en un adecuado servicio a la Administración y a la investigación.
In view of the richness and importance of the records that the Port Archives file, the Responsibles of these areas in the different Port Authorities are implementing a series of activities with the idea of creating a Port Archives System of the State and Port Authorities on purpose of getting a proper organization and documentary management. This will redound to the preservation of the documentary port heritage and to the appropiate service to the Administration and the researchers
