The configuration of the environment as a collective legal right determines the active standing of organizations defending the environment in the contentious-administrative process. The work highlights the obstacles that some environmental associations still encounter when they try to defend the interests set out in their statutes. There are still debated issues, such as the scope of collective legitimate interests or the class action.
