This review brings together the most important rulings, mostly judgments, of the European Court of Justice in 2019 and 2020. The review is not exhaustive and focuses on the preliminary rulings that may be of most relevance in Spain. For that reason, special attention has been given to the issues raised by Spanish courts, which include among their main contents the maternity allowance in the calculation of social security benefits, disability discrimination, the recording of working time and, once again, fixed-term contracts. The review does not include judgments of the General Court.
