La Sentencia del Tribunal Supremo (sala de lo Civil) 207/2020 de 29 mayo afirma que «no son nacidos en España quienes nacieron en un territorio durante la etapa en que fue colonia española». Esta Jurisprudencia es analizada en función de datos históricos, legales y jurídicos que demuestran su inconsistencia. Sin embargo, su interpretación debe ser obligatoriamente acatada.
The Judgment 207/2020 of 29 May of the Spanish Supreme Court (Civil Chamber) says that «they are not born in Spain who was born in the territory during the time in which it was Spanish Colonia». This Jurisprudence is analyzed according to historical and legal data that demonstrate its inconsistency. However, this interpretation must be obligatory.
