La revolución tecnológica, unida a la revolución sexual ha favorecido el intercambio de contenido sexual, insinuante o provocativo, generando una gran alarma social y mediática. El presente estudio tiene como objetivo analizar la relación entre la edad, el género, la orientación sexual y algunos comportamientos y concepciones sexuales con ser receptor y emisor de sexting. Para ello, se empleó una muestra de 74 estudiantes universitarios mayores de edad y se realizaron dos modelos de regresión logística binaria para identificar y estudiar la correlación entre las variables independientes y las variables dependientes: ser receptor de sexting y ser emisor de sexting. Los resultados muestran la existencia de correlaciones estadísticamente significativas entre la vestimenta provocativa de fiesta y dejar al descubierto la ropa interior con ser receptor de sexting y, por otro lado, entre la edad y posar desnuda/o para fotografías para la pareja con ser emisor de sexting.
The technological revolution, together with the sexual revolution, has favored the exchange of sexual, suggestive or provocative content, generating asocial and media alarm. The present study aims to analyze the relationship between age, gender, sexual orientation and some sexual behaviors and conceptions with being a receiver and sender of sexting. For this, asmallsample of 74 adults was used and two binary logistic regression models were carried out to identify and study the correlation between the independent variables and the dependent variables: being a receiver of sexting and being a sender of sexting. The results show the existence of statistically significant correlations between provocative party clothing and revealing underwear with being a receiverof sexting and, on the other hand, between age and posing nude for photographs for the couple with being a sender of sexting.
