El presente trabajo muestra los resultados obtenidos sobre el conocimiento de la historia valenciana y las visiones identitarias que se desprenden de ella. Este ha sido realizado a partir de un cuestionario con alumnado de Educación Secundaria Obligatoria de un centro concertado y cooperativo del País Valenciano. Además, el estudio también aporta información de tipo sociológico, como la lengua habitual, lo que ha servido de filtro analítico para poder interpretar los resultados en clave identitaria. Así, la investigación muestra una clara y generalizada limitación de conocimientos históricos estrictamente valencianos más allá de la recurrente referencia al rey Jaime I, junto a unas visiones identitarias que oscilan entre el regionalismo valenciano hegemónico y el nacionalismo valenciano de tipo lingüístico
This work shows the results about the knowledge of Valencian history and the identity visions that emerge from it. This has been carried out from a questionnaire with Secondary Education students from a concerted and cooperative school in the Valencian Country. In addition, the study also provides sociological information, such as the native language, which has served as an analytical filter to be able to interpret the results in an identity way. Thus, the research shows a clear and generalized limitation of strictly Valencian historical knowledge beyond the recurrent reference to King James I of Aragon, as well as some identity visions that oscillate between hegemonic Valencian regionalism and Valencian linguistic nationalism.
