En este artículo se mostrarán, desde una perspectiva diacrónica, las fórmulas retóricas de conversión presentes en el autorretrato del pensador que se embarca en el viaje introspectivo, retrospectivo y alterspectivo que supone el proceso de auto-escritura. Por otra parte, se enmarcará también la evolución del yo metafísico al yo psíquico en la historia de la autobiografía filosófica; evolución estrechamente relacionada con una progresiva secularización de la retórica de conversión y del proceso de auto-escritura mismo.
This article will discuss, from a diachronic perspective, the rhetorical formulas of conversion present in the self-portrait of the thinker who embarks on the introspective, retrospective and alterspective journey that the self-writing process entails. Furthermore, the evolution from the metaphysical self to the psychic self will be framed in the history of philosophical autobiography; an evolution closely related to a progressive secularization of the rhetoric of conversion and of the self-writing process itself.
