Choosing a book in the library may not be a free decision. The mind, in fact, could be conditioned by certain unmanageable prejudices. The present contribution, therefore, aims to highlight this possibility, making use of a multidisciplinary approach that ranges from Kant to quantum mechanics, up to cognitive psychology, and in particular to the so-called bias.
