El Anteproyecto de Ley de Medidas de Eficiencia Procesal del Servicio Público de Justicia convierte en ordinarias las actuaciones judiciales mediante el sistema de videoconferencia, con el objetivo de dotar a la Administración de Justicia de fórmulas que agilicen la forma de impartir justicia. Este trabajo surge con el fin de comprobar si el cambio de escenografía que implica el uso de estos medios puede llegar a afectar al derecho de defensa del acusado y a los principios informadores del juicio oral.
The Draft Law on Procedural Efficiency Measures of the Public Justice Service makes court proceedings by means of videoconferencing ordinary, in order to provide the administration of justice with formulas that speed up the way justice is dispensed. The aim of this paper is to test whether the change of scenography implied by the use of these media can affect the defendant’s right of defence and the principles that inform the oral trial.
