Los espacios marítimos forman parte del territorio nacional y, sin embargo, no están integrados en el territorio autonómico (salvo en el caso de Canarias). No existe impedimento constitucional alguno sobre la inclusión de dichos espacios en el ámbito territorial autonómico. La investigación se centrará en describir los argumentos a favor de la extensión del territorio autonómico al ámbito marítimo y sus consecuencias, especialmente en el plano competencial.
The maritime spaces are part of the Spanish n ational territory and, however, they are not integrated into the autonomo us territory (except in the case of the Canary Islands). There is no constitutional impediment to the inclusion of such spaces in the autonomous territorial scope. The research will focus on describing the arguments in favor of the extension of the autonomous territory to the maritime scope and its consequences, especially from the competence point of view.
