    Los destinos turísticos patrimoniales son lugares de belleza única que representan un legado para futuras generaciones y cuya importancia está ligada no solo a los beneficios económicos que pudiera generar a través de la actividad turística, sino que también está conectada con el sentido de identidad de las comunidades. Diferentes investigadores, y practicantes del sector turístico y de preservación han reconocido la importancia de asegurar la sostenibilidad de los recursos culturales para futuras generaciones. Sin embargo, alcanzar dicho objetivo no siempre es sencillo. A través del presente estudio se plantea la adopción del pensamiento resiliente como medio para lograr la sostenibilidad en destinos turísticos patrimoniales, así como la participación de distintos representantes de los sectores involucrados en el desarrollo y planeamiento de los destinos.

    Heritage tourist destinations are places of unique beauty that represent a legacy for future generations and whose importance is linked not only to the economic benefits that could generate through the tourist activity, but also is connected with the sense of identity of the communities. Different researchers and practitioners from the tourism and preservation sectors have recognized the importance of ensuring the sustainability of cultural resources for future generations. Achieving that goal, however, is not always easy. This study proposes the adoption of resilient thinking as a means to achieve sustainability in heritage tourism destinations, as well as the participation of different representatives of the sectors involved in the development and planning of destinations.
