El presente texto analizará la teoría crítica y feminista del capitalismo de Nancy Fraser. Su nuevo enfoque del capitalismo como orden social institucional permite explicar diferentes formas de dominación y opresión estructural y abre vías para su superación a través de acciones contestarias. Se examinarán las divisiones institucionales entre produc-ción y reproducción, la crisis de la reproducción y lo que Fraser llama “luchas de frontera”. Se observará su propuesta política para la construcción de un bloque contestatario contra-hegemónico por parte de un “populismo progresista” hacia el socialismo democrático. Por último, se realizará un balance crítico de su análisis
This text will analyze the critical and feminist theory of capitalism by Nancy Fraser. Her new approach to capitalism as an institutional social order makes it possible to analyze the different forms of structural domination and oppression and it opens ways to overcome it through counter actions. Institutional divisions between production and re-production, the reproductive crise, and what Fraser calls “frontier struggles” will be exam-ined. Her political proposal for the construction of a counter-hegemonic oppositional bloc towards a democratic socialism by a “progressive populism” will be observed. Finally, a critical balance of its analysis will be made.
