    Este trabajo tiene por objeto analizar el panorama que existe actualmente en España en relación a la custodia compartida de los hijos tras la ruptura de pareja. El estudio se hace desde una perspectiva sociojurídica, esto es, desde un enfoque normativo, jurisprudencial y social. Primero, se expone la normativa vigente, señalando los cambios legales que se han producido recientemente. A continuación, se realiza un breve análisis sobre la jurisprudencia emanada del Tribunal Supremo tras la entrada en vigor de las nuevas leyes. Por último, se lleva a cabo un análisis longitudinal, que ilustra la evolución de las sentencias entre 2007 y 2017. Los resultados evidencian cambios significativos durante el periodo analizado.

    The aim of this paper is to analyse the current situation in Spain with regard to joint physical custody of children after the conjugal break-up. The analysis is carried out from a socio-legal perspective, that is, from a normative, jurisprudential and social point of view. Firstly, the current legislation is presented, pointing out the legal changes that have taken place recently. Next, a brief analysis is made of the jurisprudence of the Supreme Court after the approval of the new laws. Finally, a longitudinal analysis is carried out, which illustrates the evolution of sentences between 2007 and 2017. The results show significant changes during the period analysed.
