This article aims to present some relevant points about the Aristotelian conception of ethics. Therefore, his theory should be situated within the movement of Hellenistic philosophy, taking as a starting point the relationship established between the works of Aristotle and Plato. In a second phase, will be highlighted some interpretive and analytical ways of Aristotelian ethics, highlighting some key concepts such as phronesis, the notion of justice, friendship and self-control. The objective is to contribute to the exhibition and interpretation of Aristotelian ethics, or ethics of virtue, for readers inserted in the legal field, trying to start a highlight of key concepts of such ethics.
O presente artigo tem o objetivo de apresentar alguns pontos relevantes acerca da concepção aristotélica de ética. Para tanto, será necessário situar sua teoria no interior do movimento da filosofia helênica, tomando como ponto de partida a relação estabelecida entre as obras de Aristóteles e Platão. Em um segundo momento, serão realçados alguns caminhos interpretativos e analíticos da ética aristotélica, com destaque para alguns conceitos principais, como phronesis, a noção de justiça, a amizade e o autodomínio. O objetivo do trabalho é o de contribuir para a exposição e interpretação da ética aristotélica, ou ética das virtudes, ao se buscar iniciar um realce de seus conceitos centrais para os leitores inseridos no campo jurídico.
