En este artículo se analizan, desde una perspectiva de género, cuatro libros actuales de Lengua castellana y Literatura de 2.º de Bachillerato, poniendo el foco en los textos y las ilustraciones que se incluyen en cada uno, así como en la presencia de escritoras en la parte de los manuales dedicada a la educación literaria. El objetivo es el de detectar si existen o no sesgos androcéntricos en este material didáctico para, de este modo, contribuir a una mejora en el diseño futuro de manuales escolares.
This study offers a gender analysis of four Spanish Language and Literature textbooks for second-year High School students. Three main issues were considered, namely the texts, the illustrations, and the presence of women writers. The aim is to detect the possible existence of androcentric bias in the teaching materials and to contribute to improve the design of textbooks.
