El pasado día 1 de febrero de 2019, el Consejo de Ministros tomó en consideración el Anteproyecto de Ley del Deporte, norma que pretende sustituir a la actual Ley del Deporte concebida en el año 1990. Entre sus artículos encontramos bastantes menciones al marco laboral del deporte, si bien respetando que la regulación de la relación laboral especial se mantenga en el Real Decreto 1006/1985, que viene a desarrollar lo dispuesto en el Estatuto de los Trabajadores. En este trabajo analizamos aquellas cuestiones que son de relevancia en el marco del Derecho del Trabajo y la creciente importancia que el legislador quiere darle a la existencia de marcos laborales estables en el deporte.
On February 1, 2019, the Council of Ministers took into consideration the Draft Sports Law, a regulation that intends to replace the current Sports Law conceived in 1990. Among its articles we find quite a few mentions of the sports labor framework, although respecting the regulation of the special labor relationship maintained in Real Decreto 1006/1985, which develops the questions of the Workers Statute. In this article we analyze the relevant issues in the Labor Law and the growing importance that the legislator wants to give to the existence of stable labor frameworks in sport.
