En el siguiente artículo rescataremos la importancia de la prensa y de las imágenes vinculadas a los trabajadores, como fuentes necesarias para estudiar y reconstruir la historia local. Analizaremos cómo, desde una perspectiva particular y utilizando una fuente novedosa, podemos acceder al estudio de otras realidades, incorporando las voces de diferentes actores sociales. Buscaremos acercarnos al complejo y a la vez interesante mundo de las imágenes y ver cuál es la información que estas fuentes nos brindan al momento de utilizarlas en las investigaciones y complementarlas con otras fuentes.
In the following article we will rescue/highlight the importance of the (printing) press and images related to workers, as necessary sources to study and reconstruct local history. We will discuss how, from a particular perspective and using a novel source, we can study other realities, incorporating the voices of different social actors. We will seek to approach the complex and interesting world of images to see what information these sources provide us when using them in research and when supplement them with other sources.
