El presente artículo aborda, de un modo integral, la irrupción de los drones en el panorama normativo europeo y español dada la relevancia que hanalcanzado en los últimos años y la perspectiva de crecimiento del sector durante las próximas décadas en el conjunto de la aviación civil. Desde este enfoque, se procede al análisis de la normativa española actual; cuál es el marco regulatorio europeo y cuáles lasiniciativas de investigación y estudio por parte de grupos expertos que le dan sustento y orientación.
This article analyses, in general, the irruption of drones in the current European and Spanish regulatory landscape due to the relevance they have reached during the last years and the future perspective of growth that it is expected in civil aviation by the UAs sector. From this point of view, it is studied the Spanish regulation; what is the European framework; and what are the research y consultative initiatives leaded by expert groups, which support and give orientation to the process.
