La Ley N° 26.150/06 reconoce el derecho de todas las personas que atraviesan el sistema educativo a recibir Educación Sexual Integral (ESI). A 14 años de su sanción, nos preguntamos cómo se llevó adelante su implementación en las provincias de Santa Fe y Entre Ríos, a partir de las acciones y propuestas de sus respectivos programas: “De ESI se habla” y el “Programa de Educación Sexual Escolar” (PESE). Para llevar adelante la comparación de sus trayectorias, consideramos la presencia de actores sociales que pugnan por orientar la implementación de la ESI, los enfoques y modelos de la educación sexual presentes en ambos programas y el rol que cumplen las comunidades educativas para efectivizar este derecho, entre otros factores.
The law Number 26,150 from 2006 entitles every person within the Education System (both Public and Private) to receive Integral Sexual Education (in Spanish ESI). 14 years after its enactment, we analizehow was it actually implemented in the argentinian provinces of Santa Fe and Entre Ríos, by focusing on the actions and guidelines of their respective master programs: “We talk about ESI” (in spanish the word “eso” [that] sounds very similar to the initials ESI) and “School´s sexual education program” (in Spanish PESE). In order to compare their historical development, we take into consideration, among other elements and factors, the presence of social actors struggling to orientate the implementation of ESI; the approaches and educational models behind both programs and the role played by the educational communities in the way this right materializes
