Este trabajo se encaminó a la recopilación histórica del teatro en loja, y se logró compendiar testimonios históricos sobre el devenir del teatro en la ciudad de Loja. Exponemos los resultados de los testimonios a través de un cuadro cronológico, con el fin primordial de contribuir con estos apuntes al enriquecimiento de la cultura lojana. Concluimos que: la Universidad Nacional de Loja fue la gestora del desarrollo teatral en la década de 1970; que la tendencia teatral de aquella época fue de tinte social; de los grupos que hicieron teatro en esta etapa histórica, solo subsiste el que pertenece a la Universidad Nacional de Loja; y algunos de los protagonistas que forjaron esta historia, también escribieron obras dramáticas
This work was directed to the historical collection of lojano theater, and it was possible to summarize historical evidenceon the future of theater in the city of Loja. We present the results of the evidence through a timeline, with the primary purpose ofthese notes contribute to the enrichment of lojana culture. We conclude that the National University of Loja was the manager ofthe theater development in the 1970s; the theatrical trend of me time was social tinge; groups that made this historic theater stageremains the only belonging to the National University of Loja; and some of the characters who shaped the story, also wrote plays
