Este artículo presenta conocimientos sociales y culturales mapuche. Considera la cuestión de saber por qué los padres de familia actúan, piensan y sienten, sobre lo que se propone como diálogo de saberes, entre la educación mapuche y la educación escolar. La metodología es cualitativa. Los resultados muestran contenidos educativos en el proceso de socialización de la persona.
Se discute que el sistema educativo chileno niega la base epistémica de conocimiento mapuche. Se concluye que la construcción social de conocimiento mapuche presenta incertidumbres y necesita más indagaciones que aporten mayor comprensión y explicación
This article presents Mapuche social and cultural knowledge.
She considers it a question of knowing why parents act, think and feel about what is proposed as a dialogue of knowledge between Mapuche education and school education. The methodology is qualitative. The results show educational contents in the process of socialization of the person. It is argued that the Chilean educational system denies the epistemic basis of Mapuche knowledge. It is concluded that the social construction of Mapuche knowledge presents uncertainties and needs more inquiries that provide greater understanding and explanation
