The research explores the theme of the travel made by students to go to universi-ty study centers, according to the topos of the Authentica Habita “Amore scientiae facti sunt exules”. Thanks to the discovery of new sources, it is proposed to re-construct the itinerary taken by two Sicilian students of the fifteenth and sixteenth centuries to reach the Studium of Padua, and their subsequent events.
La ricerca approfondisce il tema del viaggio compiuto dagli studenti per recarsi nei centri di studio universitari, secondo il topos dell’Authentica Habita “Amore scientiae facti sunt exules”. Grazie al ritrovamento di nuove fonti si propone la ri-costruzione dell’itinerario percorso da due studenti siciliani dei secoli XV e XVI per raggiungere lo Studium di Padova, e delle loro successive vicende.
