  Desde el 12 de mayo del 2019, las empresas españolas deberán establecer un registro diario de la jornada laboral de sus trabajadores; el incumplimiento reiterado de esta nueva obligación, conllevará sanciones para los empresarios. Esta nueva exigencia supone un nuevo gasto directo para el tejido empresarial, al tener que implantar los instrumentos técnicos necesarios y adecuados para realizar dicho registro; además, el coste indirecto que supondrá a las empresas será muy elevado, al reducir el número de horas de trabajo no reguladas, o el gasto millonario de tener que cotizar por aquellas horas que anteriormente no cotizaban a la Seguridad Social.

  Con la nueva Ley 8/2019, de 8 marzo, sobre medidas urgentes de protección social y lucha contra la precariedad laboral, en la jornada de trabajo, se intentarán regularizar los 6,5 millones de horas extra que se trabajan en España, de las que una parte de ellas no cotizan; aproximadamente un 46%; por lo tanto, con la entrada en vigor de esta nueva Ley, además de luchar contra la precariedad laboral que sufren un elevado número de trabajadores, el Estado, aumentará la recaudación de la Seguridad Social.

  Esta nueva medida de protección social, contra el fraude y la precariedad laboral, va en consonancia con el sistema de registro que posee el resto de Estados de la Unión Europea, y a pesar de ser considerada una de las más rígidas, se produce en un momento donde el mercado laboral español no pasa por su mejor momento, ya que donde desde la patronal y otras organizaciones sindicales, se está pidiendo la derogación de la anterior reforma laboral.

  From May 12, 2019 Spanish companies must establish a daily record of the working hours of their workers; repeated non-compliance with this new obligation will entail sanctions for employers. This new requirement involves a new direct expense for the business sector, having to implement the necessary and adequate technical instruments to carry out this registration, in addition, the indirect cost that will be imposed on the companies will be very high, by reducing the number of working hours not regulated, or the millionaire expense of having to pay for those hours that previously did not contribute to Social Security.

  With the new Law 8/2019, of 8 March, on urgent measures of social protection and fight against the precariousness of work, during the working day, an attempt will be made to regularize the 6.5 million extra hours worked in Spain, of which a part of them do not quote; approximately 46%; therefore with the coming into force of this new law, in addition to fighting against job insecurity suffered by a large number of workers, the State increased the collection of Social Security.

  This new measure of social protection, against fraud and precarious work, is consistent with the registration system that has the other European Union States, and despite being considered one of the most rigid, occurs in a moment where the Spanish labor market is not going through its best moment, since where from the employer's and other union organizations, the repeal of the previous labor reform is being requested.
