Fighting against corruption and promoting transparency is of paramount importance in order to win back the citizens' trust, without which democracy cannot function properly. Since 2017, we have taken important steps in that direction. I say we go further and pass a new law aimed at strengthening the integrity and accountability of policymakers.
Transparence et lutte contre la corruption sent aujourd'hui des exigences fondamentales auxquelles nous devons satisfaire afin de regagner la confiance des citoyens, sans laquelle il n'y a pas de démocratie. Depuis 2017, nous avons fait d'importants progrès. Je propose d'aller plus loin en adoptant une « loi de confiance II » à mi-mandat.
