Se describe la tipología de autores individuales y colectivos que ostentan derechos de autor sobre una obra científica, así como las clases de obras existentes en función de los autores que intervienen, su condición y la organización bajo la que se crea la obra. Identificar a los autores y gestionar los permisos sobre las obras se convierte en una tarea muchas veces de difícil o imposible cumplimiento y obstaculiza la innovación.
Las soluciones que se vienen implantando contra el problema consisten en la utilización de obras Copyleft o mecanismos como el Open Access.
The paper describes the typology of individual and collective authors with royalties on scientific works, as well as the types of existing works, depending on the number of authors, their condition and the organization of creation of the work. Identifying authors and managing permits is often a hard or impossible task that hinders innovation. Solutions that are being implemented in order to overcome the problem are the use of works such as Copyleft or mechanisms such as Open Access.
