La investigación estuvo dirigida a determinar el grado de cumplimiento de los lineamientos gerenciales del Instituto Nacional de Deporte (IND), con base en la opinión de los jefes de sección y de unidad del Instituto Municipal de Deporte del Municipio Maracaibo. El tipo de investigación que se utilizó fue descriptiva, de carácter evolutivo, en virtud del tipo de información que se buscó obtener. De igual forma, es evaluativa. La población objeto para determinar los parámetros de la investigación fueron los jefes de sección y de unidad del Instituto Municipal de Deporte del Municipio Maracaibo (IMPREDEC). La técnica de recolección de datos fue la observación mediante encuesta tipo simple y escala. El cuestionario simple estuvo conformado por 12 ítems y 23 de selección a escala. Para el análisis de los resultados se realizó una estadística descriptiva a partir de la cual se concluyó que todos los lineamientos gerenciales del IND presentan un alto porcentaje de cumplimiento parcial. A partir de estos datos se recomiendan parámetros de lineamientos gerenciales para ser considerados por el IND al momento de establecer la planificación estratégica del año 2003.
This investigation was aimed at determining the level of compliance of managerial rules in the National Institute of Sports (IND) based on the opinion of the sectional and unit chiefs of the Maracaibo city’s Municipal Institute for Sports. The kind of investigation used was descriptive, evolutionary as well as evaluative according to the kind of information intended to obtain. The sectional and unit chiefs of the Maracaibo city’s Municipal Institute for Sports (IMPREDEC) were used as object population in order to determine the parameters of this investigation. The data collection technique was the observation through a kind of a simple and scale survey. The simple questionnaire is made up of twelve (12) items and twenty-three (23) items of scale selection. A descriptive statistics was used in order to analyze the results from which it was concluded that the IND’s managerial rules shows a high percentage of partial compliance. Knowing these data, parameters of managerial rules are recommended to be considered by the IND at the moment of establishing the 2003 strategic plan.
