O tema da justiça popular, na forma como Foucault o apresenta no livro Microfísica do poder, sugere nos que o mesmo não se preocupou em formular o conceito acerca deste tema na forma como comumente o foi pensado e apresentado por alguns outros filósofos na história da filosofia. Ao invés de se pensar a justiça como algo universal e inerente à natureza do homem, ele desenvolveu o conceito de justiça associado muito mais ao plano da historicidade e também à questão do poder. Nosso objetivo neste trabalho é explorar este conceito de justiça por parte de Foucault e ao mesmo tempo verificar em quais circunstâncias a chamada justiça popular se justificaria enquanto aplicação na realidade concreta.
In the book Microphysics of power, Foucault suggests that he has not bothered to formulate the concept about popular justice in the way that it was commonly thought and presented by some other philosophers in the history of philosophy. Instead of thinking of justice as something universal and inherent in the human being nature, Foucault developed an idea of justice associated much more with the plane of historicity, and also with the question of power. Our objective in this paper is to explore his concept of justice and to verify in what circumstances the so-called popular justice would be justified as an application in a concrete reality
