El objetivo del presente artículo es adentrar al lector en los medios alternos de solución de conflictos, haciendo un análisis de esta nueva cultura que, en pocos años, ha ganado terreno en nuestro país. Hasta ahora, la aplicación de este sistema no adversarial en otros países ha arrojado datos satisfactorios para la culminación de conflictos de una forma más sencilla, sin tantos formalismos y sobretodo evitando un mayor conflicto entre las partes. Se reflexiona sobre el papel que juegan estos mecanismos, así como las ventajas y efectos de la mediación en la solución de conflictos familiares.
The aim of this article is to undertake the reader into the Alternative Dispute Resolution Methods, by making an analysis of this new culture that in a few years has gained ground in our country. Up to now, the application of these non-adversarial procedures that have successfully solved conflicts in other countries producing sufficient data on the success of conflicts in a simpler way, without so many formalities, and above all avoiding increasing the conflicts among the parties. A reflection is made on the role of these mechanisms, as well as the advantages and consequences of mediation within the solution of family conflicts.
