Las preguntas que guían este texto son: ¿Cómo se define un conflicto social? ¿Qué los distingue de otro tipo de dinámicas sociales? ¿Qué se disputaría en estos? ¿Qué elemento es fundamental para explicarlos cuando adquiere formas de movilización, actores organizados y en dónde se emplean acciones colectivas transgresoras? Se argumentan tres puntos centrales. Primero: el concepto de conflicto social en una sociedad es una disputa por la orientación y control de los recursos materiales y simbólicos. Segundo: esto alude a la dimensión política de toda sociedad y de las relaciones de poder. Por último, las orientaciones colectivas son las que permiten construir procesos de movilización, identidades colectivas y polarización en procesos de conflicto social.
The questions that guide this paper are:
how does a social conflict develop, what distinguishes them from other social disputes, what elements explain when these social conflicts mobilize, as well as which organized actors use transgressive action and where. Two central points are argued.
First, it is argued that the concept of social conflict in a society represents a dispute over the direction and control of material and symbolic resources. Second, it is argued that this social conflict refers to the policies and power relations within every society.
Lastly, collective orientations are defined as those that support processes of mobilization, the development of collective identities and polarization in social conflict.
