Resumen de Análisis del desarrollo sostenible del turismo en el ecuador desde la perspectiva de la economía

  A lo largo del tiempo se ha podido presenciar que el proceso de globalización ha generado tanto aspectos positivos como negativos dentro del desarrollo socio económico del mundo. Permitiendo crear la necesidad de generar el interés por la importancia del desarrollo sostenible no solo como un tema ambiental, sino como un elemento de comprensión de cada una de las áreas en las cuales está inmersa, entre las que podemos mencionar aspectos: económicos, social, entre otros.

  Existe la comprensión por parte de los miembros de cada país en buscar nuevas formas de aplicar como política, el desarrollo sostenible; entre las acciones que se han realizado en el transcurso del tiempo, podemos mencionar: el “Informe Brundtland”, la Conferencia Rio-92, la Cumbre sobre Cambios Climáticos en Johannesburgo en el 2002, y la Conferencia Internacional de Ecoturismo y Turismo Sostenible 2015 en donde definen la responsabilidad de integrarse a alcanzar el progreso del mundo.

  Por estas razones el presente trabajo tiene como objetivo analizar el desarrollo sostenible en el turismo desde la perspectiva de la economía, y sintetizar la importancia del desarrollo del turismo sostenible comunitario, con el fin de poder obtener como resultados un enfoque de la gestión actual en base a la sostenibilidad.

  Throughout time it has been witnessed that the globalization process has created both positive and negative points for the social-economic development of the world. Thus fostering the interest on the significance of the sustainable development, not only as an environmental issue, but also as an element allowing to understand all the areas that comprises the globalization, among which we can mention social and economic aspects.

  Every country understands the importance of searching new ways of applying the sustainable development as a policy. Among the actions that have been carried out during the last years, it can be mentioned: Brundtland Report, Rio-92 Conference, on Climate change Summit held in Johannesburg in 2002, and the International Conference on Ecotourism and Sustainable Tourism 2015 where it is set the responsibility of becoming linked to reach the progress of the world.

  Because of the previous reasons, the objective of the current work is to analyze the sustainable development from an economic perspective, and summarize the relevance of the development of the community-based tourism, so that an approach of the management based on sustainability can be achieved as a result.
